Amanda Palmer (Indie Icon and Patreon Expert): Can you be my midwife?

from Salon Holofernes- Gespräche über kreatives Arbeiten · host Judith Holofernes

Some five years ago, I wrote a flaming, enthusiastic article about indie icon Amanda Palmer and her seminal book, „The Art of Asking.“ Now you can listen to Amanda read it to you - ON MY PODCAST! I would have wanted to run straight over here and join Patreon there and then, after reading that book, and for several reasons (none of them really my own)... I didn´t. But now! As you might have noticed from lovey-dovey posts on both our instagrams: Amanda and I have, most wondrously, recently become friends. For this I ask for a moment of silence: for it seems that really those most far -fetched dreams, the most ridiculous, daring ones, have a tendency to become true. Gong. So, when you have just timidly and happily befriended AMANDA PALMER, what would be more fitting than to have all your lingering doubts assuaged and cared for and made better and dissipated by none other than the Queen of Crowdfunding herself? You can listen to our two hour long, wonderful and deep conversation here, in this first ever English episode of my podcast: „Salon Holofernes ... featuring Amanda Palmer.“ If you are flirting with becoming a crowd –based artist yourself, but don´t quite dare to jump in – or if you are all fired up and ready to go, but could use some sage advice on the hows and whens ... this, my friends, ist the ultimate coaching experience. I think you will have a lot of your questions answered. Also of course it would make me happy if you joined my patreon over at www.patreon.com/judithholofernes to support the podcast, my music and my writing.
