Amanda Patterson: North East Nipples – Where Art Meets Healing

We're back for Season 3 of Geordie Pride and we couldn't be happier to return with a story full of courage and incredible hope!  In this episode, we chat with Amanda Patterson, a North Tyneside-based Areola Tattoo Artist and founder of Amanda Jo Skin, who's on a mission to help boobs smile again.  Amanda combines her realism art background with her skills in tattooing and permanent make-up to create beautiful 3D areola tattoos. Her work helps people rebuild their confidence after breast surgery, cancer treatment or gender-affirming procedures. She brings together medical understanding and artistic healing, using compassion and creativity to help people feel whole again.  Amanda is joined by her lovely client Jackie, who shares her honest and emotional journey through multiple cancers and reconstructions, and the moment she looked in the mirror and finally felt like herself again.
