Welcome to our special edition of Scoop News Group's AI Week Podcast. I'm Wyatt Cash, and we're here at Google Cloud next in Las Vegas, and joining us here in the public sector booth on the Expo floor is. Amanda staying here, Google Public Sector, head of sales for the PacWest region. Terrific.

If you would, what would you say were probably the biggest or most important announcement you heard today for your state customers? You know, a lot of our state, local and education customers, the one theme is how do we get started? How do we get that in our environment? Here's our 10x problem that we're trying to solve.

What technology can we map it back to? So a lot of our customers definitely came out of that session very inspired around AI. How can they get started? And what's the first phase we can get going with?

And can you share any stories of what your customers are doing now, making use of Gemini or Google AI products in general? Yeah, a lot of our customers, we ask them to come with us with the 10x problems, to come to us with the outcomes that they're seeking, and we'll map the technology back to it. So whether we're talking about climate insights and sea level rise for the state of Hawaii, or whether it's the safety analytics solution we have, that's mapped to the bipartisan infrastructure law, where we're literally helping reduce fatalities on the roads by measuring it with AI, applying countermeasures, and being able to see the before and after. Lots of different ways we're deploying technology.

With the Maui fires, we stood up at call center in 24 hours. So we were able to help those communities get access to disaster and employment, and disaster food snaps very quickly in a time of need. I'm sure that helped them a lot. They certainly needed it.

Yeah, last things that came out of today's announcements. I know Thomas Corianan crew announced a lot of them, but any other developments that came out of cloud next today that you think would be particularly important. You know, a lot of our customers are talking about workspace collaboration, leveraging Gemini, and a more day-to-day basis. We just were giving a demo on how Gemini can take notes doing a Google meeting and a sign action item.

So it's taking the note taking out of the user's hands and giving it to Gemini, which is pretty cool. Awesome. Well, I mean, thank you so much for taking if you're made us a join us here. We really appreciate it.

Thank you.
