AMATEUR BASEBALL: Region 10C semifinals set

The Region 10C semifinals are set with the Windom Pirates taking on the Fairmont Martins for the championship. Windom will play host to Fairmont 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Island Park in the opening game of a best-of-3 series.  Game Two will take place 7:30 p.m. Friday at Herb Wolf Field.  Should a third game be needed, the Pirates and Martins will square off at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16 (from Island Park).  Luverne and Jackson will vie for the remaining state tournament bid in another best-of-3 series.  Jackson plays at Luverne for Game One at Redbird Field with...
