Amazon Web Services: “En el AWS re:Invent de este año hubo mucho foco en innovación y en inteligencia artificial” - 09 Feb 2026

Merce Mariño, Responsable de Tecnología de AWS para España y Portugal, viene a nuestro programa para del AWS re:Invent y de qué trata este evento. Es el evento anual organizado por AWS que tiene lugar en Las Vegas y que reúne a más de 60.000 partners y clientes de la compañía para experimentar, aprender y compartir conocimiento. “En el AWS re:Invent de este año hubo mucho foco en innovación y en inteligencia artificial”, asegura la invitada. Dentro de los temas, se ha tratado la evolución de los agentes de inteligencia artificial, donde como detalla, “lo han llevado a un nivel más allá y lo han llamado agentes frontera, que tienen autonomía completa y que pueden operar sin intervención humana”. ¿Cuál va a ser el impacto de los agentes frontera? La Responsable de Tecnología de AWS para España y Portugal señala que “los agentes frontera van a cambiar cómo funcionan las empresas”. La invitada va más allá y predice que “ven a las empresas con miles millones de agentes en el futuro, trabajando, interactuando entre ellos y colaborando”. ¿Cuál es la situación de España y Portugal comparada con la de Estados Unidos? “En España lo que más me gusta es el concepto de la democratización de la tecnología, ahora estamos haciendo el concepto de democratización de la inteligencia artificial”, afirma Merce Mariño. ¿Cómo llevan a cabo esta democratización desde la compañía? La experta explica que “la manera de hacerlo, su paradigma, es utilizar modelos y herramientas que todo el mundo pueda utilizar y su misión es que todas las empresas sean empresas de IA en el futuro”. ¿Cómo está evolucionando esto en estas empresas de nuestro país? “Estamos viendo progreso, en 2025 un 36% de las empresas españolas ya habían optado por la inteligencia artificial”, apunta la invitada.
