Prior to his appointment as Ambassador in 2016, Ambassador Aung Lynn held leadership positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar’s ASEAN Affairs Department, the Myanmar consul in Hong Kong, the Department of Protocol, the Permanent Mission of Myanmar to the United Nations, and at the Myanmar Embassy in South Africa.
