AMBASSADOR DD HAMADZIRIPI SAZIMBABWE RELATIONS

Bilateral relations between South Africa and Zimbabwe are cordial. The diplomatic relations between the two countries were formalised in 1994 when South Africa gained her freedom. To which former President Robert Mugabe became the first African Head of State to undertake a State Visit to South Africa.
