Amber Hagerman

from Voices for Justice · host Sarah Turney

Today I am discussing the case of 9-year-old Amber Hagerman. In 1996 Amber was riding her bike in a parking lot in Arlington, Texas, just a few blocks from her grandparents' home when a man grabbed her from the bike, threw her in his truck and drove away in broad daylight. 4 days later Amber’s body was recovered from a nearby creek. After 26 years of frustration, Amber’s family and law enforcement are imploring the public to continue to share Amber’s case and Amber’s mother is begging for people to see her daughter as more than just the girl who inspired the Amber Alert. Anyone with information is urged to call Arlington detectives at 817-575-8823.
