I win welcome to another episode of Ambaril City Heroes. February 2019. I am your game master at HappyPuke and today I have four bad eggs ready to play fate. We have Deviled Eggs Shannon playing obscurity.

We have poached eggs Jay playing Dr.Dudad. It's illegal to eat me. It's illegal to eat me. I'll poach.

That was a funny. I did a funny joke. We have SunnysideUpGeezel playing Wayfarer. What doesn't fit my personality?

Would you rather I have said Eggs Benedict Arnold James playing Phalanx? Is that like, can I have a play Sherlock now? That's Benedict Cumberbatch. That's totally...

No one knows his name. Benedict Arnold killed a man. Benedict Arnold beat his Dr.Tjord. He betrayed America.

He's making up for it. Is that the drink where it's F.I.C.T. F.Lubbin. Benedict Arnold Palmer.

It's half-lubbinade. Half-I.C.T. 100% betray. I heard that in the Boston Tea Party.

They threw 20 crates of tea over. They threw 20 crates of lemonade. That's how its name is drink was created. It's another British that we're much better at beverages.

What is this gin? That should taste like Christmas. Give it a flag out of here. Oh my God.

Oh, James. You're welcome. Okay. Cool.

So we're a real Play of Fate based podcast on this year's feed conical with everything else, including our second feed that has a little extra on it if you want to go check that out. Oh, that's it, you too. But you're here right now. So would somebody like to let us know what happened on the last episode of Amberville City Heroes?

This James have notes again. All eyes to James. I just want to know. Gin is actually delicious.

I apologize for it. Yeah. It's one thing you British folks do. Don't take back.

What are you talking about? I like gin. Yeah. Why British?

It's a British drink. What are you? Have you had aviation gin? From Portland?

What did you do? You're just like you have it. The Deadpool? Yeah.

Why? Because he owns it. The Deadpool is not real. The other business is like...

Ryan Reynolds is. Wait, am I going to be murdered by famous cartoonish mercenary Deadpool? Yeah. For insulting gin?

Anyway, to the notes. Dude had searches for God magic. I don't know. I was kind of not paying attention.

I was trying to find a scientific explanation for the toys of magic. Okay. That happened. The way for air can't remember much about his spaceship.

True. I think that was a role that happened. Dude had releases of disease in their lab. I wonder why do I do not know.

Sparta Marcus. Sparta Marcus. Sparta Marcus. I don't know.

Sparta Marcus. I was combining the two names. As she evacuates people from the mayor's office, Dead Eye seems to be there, killing workers, being attacked by explosive arrows in the street. That's me, by the way.

Just a little man. This is my diary. You guys just listen. Scaredy fights with Dead Eye in the hallway.

She hand-fan smoke. Yeah. Alright. Keep going.

That was a good part of the episode, guys. I am fighting a Japanese ninja in an alley. It seems to be annoying. Dude had a contained disease, but one of the stem cells.

Turns into a being. The being offers to help reverse the situation. Alright. Z-pay-to-tech.

God. God of micro-domes. I don't know. That's what I got out of the situation.

God of the bio-dome. God of the bio-dome. God of the bio-dome. Don't forget that there was a...

What was the other guy in that movie? Stephen Baldwin. Yeah, there was a bald one there, guys. And?

That's true. Although I only worshipped the God of the Xeno. They were in a bio-dome. It was one of their very first appearances.

What were they doing? Yeah, yeah. They were playing music for them. There was a part where I probably sure opened the bio-dome.

And a bunch of people came into party. And then he was just eating and playing music. Nice. Man.

I had no respect for that movie when I was... No, I do. No, I'm not told there are very much respect. Probably sure when it's canon.

And then for other... And Scurity tries to goop-gun. Dead-eyes RPG, but it misses. I mean here's where we have like 20 quotes from Alex.

You have a handful of air conditioners. Alex, you make makeshift air conditioner armor, Alex. Okay, the sniper ignites the apartment with Thermite. And then sexy little blood.

All the assassins have gone away. We know dead eye and recoil, but the others we do not. I talked to Marcus about safety and who wants them dead. And that's the end of my nose.

Sparta Marcus did say that. Sparta Marcus Sparta Marcus Sparta Marcus Sparta Marcus Sparta Marcus. He thought it was just your kind. All right, Richie folk.

He's strong. Listen, bud. He's got a mortal Roman blood. I like it.

All right, so the assessments should have happened. We're going to kind of fast forward a little bit, like a week or two. Not much is happening, but you can let me know what you're doing during that week as things kind of mellow out. Obscured you when you start with you.

What are you doing for that week? The Sparta Marcus seem interested in sex. The attempt on his life has made him more thirsty. He wants to embrace life to his fullest.

And deepest. Okay, I'm done. No, what are you doing for that company? Sorry.

Oh, does he seem concerned at all or interested in finding out who is after him? He seems to, when you talk to him about it, seems to think it's, you know, capitalist big business, people with the money. And he seems to kind of shrug it off as like, if you don't make enemies, you're not making waves. All right.

Okay. What a nerd. He says stuff. He says stuff like, you know, if they strike me down, so we'll just take my place.

I started something I can't stop. I won't stop. I'm gonna, well, I know as far as the people that I know were there, I guess I'm gonna look into them and see what they would have against him or government or any of that who might have hired them or. Right.

They look into them a little bit. It seems like recently they've been kind of freelance mercenaries. So probably their skin in the game is money signs. Right.

So they'll probably be back to fulfill the contract. Okay. All right. Is he doing anything?

Is he doing anything for those other couple of weeks as well? Me is. I mean, I'm gonna, I guess I'll hang out at his place, but I'm also gonna go back to the base and hang out there. How are our people?

What people? The people that live with us now. People that live with us. Oh, it's militia.

Yeah. They would just go live in our front yard. First labor. Yeah.

They've been taking care of the farm. Well, yes. In exchange for like, you know, food and shelter. And so they basically take it to the place of the ghosts.

They can't fight or anything. And some of them sometimes go through like with drug withdrawals or like, or they need like medical attention and like, they have like sponsors there and a lot of them are kind of like working through some shit. So there's a little bit of drama, but it's not like it doesn't really spill over into your guys' personal lives. It's just you kind of see it happening around.

But they're all kind of like trying to get on the rebound, trying to go on the straight narrow. Do we still have the two or three ghosts left? Yeah. Yeah, there's a couple ghosts hanging around.

Okay. They've kind of been really. Yeah, they've kind of been relegated to imparting martial arts wisdom as well as have to take care of complaints. And so like the ghosts have been relegated to what they keep calling themselves medicists and they've been like taking care of the homeless people when they get hurt or injured or need to learn about taking care of plants.

Okay. Are they happy doing that? Are they okay with that? They seem fine here.

Okay. Yeah. They're fine. They don't want them to be lonely.

They got each other. They're good friends. Is that all? Yeah.

Okay. Dude, what are you doing for those couple of weeks? Well, I'm going to be obsessively studying this disease now. It seems like you've created something new.

Yeah. That's fun. She's kind of gone totally manic and has just grown herself into it. She stopped like gaming or being social whatsoever.

All that she is forcing herself once per day to like gout and be an actual doctor to all the folks in the militia corps or whatever the fuck we're calling it. Right. Okay. Cool.

I'm going to be going through issues making sure they're on treatment plans, getting them prescription drugs, stuff like that. Okay. Cool. And I'll try to pick up what I can from talking to them.

Just kind of develop a decent relationship with them. Whether they're concerned with how they feel. A lot of them are real happy they're off the streets and they're like, you know, I've been through a cycle of like, you know, get arrested and then do what you have to do in the prison and then you get out and that's all you know what to do. And then you're back in the system.

And so a lot of them are happy that that cycle is broken. Okay. They're like, I actually have something I could focus on. It's quite here.

It's nice. Yeah. Yeah. Not 100% because they're never 100%.

Yeah. There's some that kind of like they stop showing up or they leave, but they'll come back like a couple months later when they hit rock bottom again, but it does have a relatively high success rate. It's not 100%. So I'm going to say, I guess, can I say that when someone graduates out of this, can I be ready for them with a job offer?

Yeah. Sure. If you want to offer jobs to some of these people, sure, and they're not really graduating out of it. They're just kind of hoping with the farm as long as they need to.

Okay. I wasn't sure how the agreement worked. You know what I mean? Because it's kind of set up through the mayor's office or is it Spartacus?

It's personally. Okay. I guess if they could work there in exchange for like food and shelter. Yeah.

So that's about the whole extent of it. Okay. I'll set up people to come in and teach some job skills or whatever. Okay.

Just kind of like help these folks get reintegrated back into society because I'm worried that like by living on a farm full of ancient plants or other by ghosts, they're not going to integrate back into society very well. Right. So I want to be sure they're for them beyond just that sort of sense of everyone's there in regard to that. Yeah.

The people that seem to be kind of in charge of it or like high rub and they're kind of, you know, telling people where they can go and what they can do. Those people seem to be far less concerned with the integrated back into society and far more self-sustaining and like martial discipline. Okay. That worries me.

So I'm going to make sure I spend time with these folks on. All right. I guess I'm not doing this specifically despite anybody, but more like we have a lot of people here and we've heard people on our base on the past. They're definitely not stopping you from doing that.

Okay. But they're just like, they're not super concerned with that. That's cool. So I'm going to have a relationship with the patients.

Okay. Cool. Wayfare. What are you doing for a couple of weeks?

I kind of like to help out with the job stuff by seeing if maybe I could talk to a local community or a greenhouse or a horticulture program to see if maybe we could figure out a pipeline to get them some kind of actual accreditation or like an opportunity to build on those kinds of skills because we're just kind of making them indentured servants. That makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Okay. You make some connections with people that are willing to help stuff like that.

That kind of stuff is like a slow boil. But yeah, you're making some connections and people are trying to get stuff worked out. Okay. There's definitely movement.

So there's a lot of movement on the farm. It's basically a job fair. Can I say try to work with the way fair on this? Yeah.

But yeah, you've got like a makeshift farm farmville job fair. That's good with me. Better than turning them all into a militia loyal lead to the mayor. Felix.

Yes. What are you doing that militia loyal to the mayor? I'm going to work with them. Defending the mayor.

Okay. Against projectiles and stuff. Okay. And I would like to have my wolves out just sniffing and being aware of like say they sniffed a dead eyes duffled egg and they've got that sent and they're back in their mind.

So they. So you want them to be a werewolves? Yes. Exactly.

All right. So the wolves are aware. They are a werewolves and they are. No.

They are sniffing around. They got that sent in their mind. And yeah, so you help show up some of the defenses of the mayor's office. Okay.

Anything else? Just patrol and then the meantime. Right. Is there anything else anybody wants to do in response to anything other people did?

Only one thing but it's tiny. What? I want to buy a aloe vera plant for the God to use when he comes in the LZ. Okay.

A little tiny pot and a little plant. Okay. Okay. That's it.

All right. So you're notified. Do that specifically is notified because you have a lot of contacts or whatnot. Yeah.

You're notified that some pictures of the recent events have surfaced on a blog. Which recent events? The assassination stuff. There's a lot of pictures that were like really inside what was happening.

Okay. They surfaced on a blog. Like how to ban apocene? Yeah.

Okay. Like really good shots of like wafer and phalanx and real close up shit. A lot of stuff. It's a attribution on the one.

Or is it like a. Rondo. The blog is called Shutterbug. And like on the bio info page it's like Amerville Citizen photojournalist without any ties.

Just like kind of like a free range photo blogger. Can I hack the blog to see what the girl is? Yeah. You can give a shot.

Yeah. Do you want me to flip you? E. That's a one.

No, it seems to be run through through some anonymous nonsense that you can't really suss out. I'll drop a link to everybody inside. This seems strange. Do you see any photographers there?

Yeah. What do the shots look like? Yeah. Yeah.

Probably should have. Like there's like shots of you fighting like blocking arrows. Like right. See like okay this person was like real close to the action.

Yeah. This is weird guys. Can I ask you a question? Sure.

Is it frame the heroes in a positive light? Yeah. Okay. It does.

Okay. It's not like a hit piece. It seems to be more impartial. It's not really framing anything.

It's just kind of like these are the events and this is why I witnessed sure. I was just thinking like for instance when phalanx was fighting and blocking arrows or whatever. Right. If they're showing him like blocking arrows and being cool and fight versus like I don't know standing over the arrow guy.

Right. Yeah. I'm not sure if I have shots of what happened. And it seems like all of the wording on the post is really impartial.

Not biased just straight. You know this is what happened is what I saw. This is what occurred. Okay.

It seems interesting. Yeah. Like the person was a superhero or has like power that we don't know the block is the same thing about that. Well, I know but I'm spitballing with her.

Oh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Go ahead.

Yeah. Like I would have noticed someone taking my picture. I'm sure you would have and not only that but I mean look how close they are for them to be in a burning building for a firm night with no damage. Yeah.

No damage to the equipment even something. Something. Yeah. I feel like a drone job but it would have to be a relatively strong piece of technology and not one widely done one or satellites.

I have an idea. Okay. I'm going to call Xs. Oh yeah.

That's yeah. I like her. She should come around. Yeah.

Definitely double date double date. I don't mean a wolf or no. Do that a wolf. No, no, no, no, access.

Access and failings and then obscurity. Ever. I say we did it. It's time to do it again.

We're over you. All right. It's not a double date. Nice.

Nice. Nice. All right. So you call access access.

What's up? Well, these pictures emerged of my party and I online. I was wondering if you could dig into them. Okay.

What do you want to know? Who took these pictures or they came from? Okay. I'll see what I can find out and get back to you.

Okay. Thanks. Love you. Bye.

All right. So is anyone else doing anything? Love you. Three.

Bye. You're the call. Oh, that was impressive. That's the metaphor.

Mom. I'm going to privacy. You're flying. It should be dark white.

It's my room. You can't wait to do a mom. Okay. Is anybody else doing anything after that?

Services. Okay. Wayfare. Go ahead.

I guess. Okay. I guess did anything get anything from my researcher? My dad.

Alright. Well, a lot of people you know. I can still call them. Especially when I'm here.

I don't know. I'll say, wait. Go go go go. Right.

I'm just going to go at this. It's probably a little gradual thing. Okay. It's going to be a little gradual thing.

I don't worry. So you're hanging around. And the police siren goes off. We owe us the police.

There's something happening. There's a robbery in progress. Let's go. Team wear it.

Is that a question to ask first? Is that a jewelry store? Okay, let's go. Okay.

Open the Horkraft. the robbers in the jewelry store and they are still inside. How many robbers? You can't see you at the moment.

I'm gonna ask a cat. How many robbers? There's three we know but there might be more. They have at least a couple hostages.

Oh. Can I say part of the horror craft on the roof of the jewelry store? Sure. Just to be like have a vantage point not be that's crowd.

Yeah, sure. What's everybody doing? I'd say if they have hostages, one of us needs to go in and get them out for anything goes down. I'm gonna.

Is this just a one-story building? Yeah. I go intangible and pop my head through and survey. Yeah, sure.

Hey. Roll me a notice to see all the all the that you survey. All the light touches. All of the light touches.

I got a four. You got a four. Alright, so you pop your head down. You're looking around.

You see that there are three hostages. They're tied up behind the counter. There is all of the perpetrators are all wearing large green cloaks and the the hostages are all underneath tied up and there's a guy with a gun to them. The other ones are taking all of the jewels and kind of putting them in a big pile in the center of the room.

And it looks like they all have like weird curved blades attached to the belt. Okay. I will pop my head back up and let you all know what I just saw. Do I know of any green cloaked people?

No, except for maybe short, but it's not that guy. Are they short? No. Okay.

There's normal sized humans. Were you asking if there were goblins? Hopids. Okay.

Did you watch that movie? The goblins. No, the godless. The Lord of the.

Googler objects. Mr. Jarr tokens the Lord of the goblins. Did you say anything about hospice?

I did catch. Yes, there are hostages. Okay. So we need a plan to get them out first.

Yeah. Can you do that? Yeah. I think that's the purpose like watching over the hostages specifically.

Yeah, there's one with a gun to the hostages. Hmm. Okay. Idea.

Just go grab the gun. That's not great advice. You're invisible. Yeah, but he's gonna know that something took his gun.

After the gun is gone. And then he's gonna alert the others. Well, I've got to shoot them then with the gun that you've just acquired. Okay.

So wait for what was your idea? Could we maybe try to construct some kind of knockout formula? I'll put it into the air duct. Let everybody go sleepy sleep and then go down and grab the hostages.

That's gonna open at compartment in her stomach and say, I've got all these short term diseases. They're all gonna work. None of them are lethal. They shouldn't incapacitate or slow them down.

That's weird, but an idea, I guess. I designed them for superhero work. It's like, I don't know. Is there a skylight?

No. Okay. There's no skylight. Roof access.

There is a roof access to a back room. Okay. I can just pop down. I would say pop down and then if you get in trouble, we can go in through the roof.

Shouldn't we be in that spare room? Just kidding. Maybe unless you're like me and can't go down a like heating duct without falling and hitting your head. It's a matter.

I'm just a ladder. Yes, that's fine. I've done that. Okay.

So what's the plan? We'll get in the back room. She goes down and goes to the hostages. We go out of there's a problem.

Correct. What would you like me to do with the guy that has the gun? Not in the hostages. Take his gun.

What else would you do? I'm trying not to alert everybody. You got any tranquilizer in that big dust or ears? Perhaps.

Feral clogger. If that doesn't work, we can just kale them with something I have like some environmental or something. All right. Roll for trink.

Do I have a tranquilizer? You have gadgets. I have a tranquilizer. All right.

I'm trying to see you. All right. So you're jumping down. Jumping down.

All right. Everyone else go into the back room. Yes. Okay.

Everyone else in the back room. You're jumping down. You're down inside. They seem to be piling up all the jewels, gems and gold.

All right. I'm going towards, watch, watch or dude. You're up to him. You're up to him.

You're gonna tranquilize him. Yeah. All right. Are you gonna shoot him with it or?

No. I'm just gonna dart him with it. Just smack him. Okay.

Role for that. What am I rolling? close up it's a fight. Okay.

Roll a three. I don't like how we all just help Janet. Roll anything but shoot please. If we teach a bad guy and just go around punching people with bullets.

Do you remember what was that movie where the guy had the bullets between his hands and he stuck in the fire to shoot the bullet down? I do not remember that but it sounds awesome. Shoot him up with the Bible and Paul Jimade. Paul Jimade steals a tank in that movie which is white on shoot him up.

I watch that way. I don't remember that scene. Yeah. He like his gun was had a handful of bullets.

So he put the bullets between his fingers and then he washed his hand up to open flames so that they shot out of his hands. That's what we were quite low in literally on screen doing nothing but killing people and eating carrots for 90 minutes. There's like a 10 minute scene where he's having sex and killing people. I have a hat that has a title on it.

And then there's a weird creepy robot baby that Paul Jimade smashes. I forgot about that but you're right. We're gonna rewatch it. It's a weird movie.

Do you want to see Paul Jimade smash baby? And he eats a lot of carrots and kills people with carrots. I was gonna say that's all I remember about the movie is carrots. Yeah.

Do you remember his hands were all fucked up so he filled his blood with carrots so he actually had a hand. My god. I remember this movie. Yeah.

I'm thinking back on this. This movie rules and I love it. It was a pretty good movie. Okay.

So you you trink start the guy. Did you say it was a fast acting trink? Yes. Okay.

Yes. No, it takes like two hours. Okay. So you trink him and he falls to the ground.

The other people that have that were piling the jewels notice. Can I try to catch him? Can I be prepared for that? So he's not so good.

You try to roll a athletics to catch. Eight points. Two. Okay.

He still does make noise because he passes out drops gun and he was right. It's a big open room and he falls. But yeah, you catch him so he doesn't thought too loud. But they do notice and one of them, one of the men closest to the pile says, it's all over.

I know it's you obscurity. I can sense you. Oh god damn. Do I know his voice?

No. No. You want to say anything? No.

Okay. You can say interloper. You will rule the day you burn down the mountain. He will rise again and he slits his own throat over the gems and all of the other men in the green cloak all run over to the pile of gems and starts slitting their throats.

And they say he will rise. He will be one. Oh boy. I'm gonna say say words to y'all.

And while I'm doing that, people throw up slitting guys. Just walk out of room and be like, hey, how's this going? Is this a ritual I know of? You're not too familiar.

No. Okay. Well, yeah, I'm gonna start on tying or whatever. Passes.

You're not having to just take a running out. I'll focus on taking them up the ladder so they don't pass whatever blood monster is going to sponsor. I will disarm the person that she not. Okay.

You disarm them. All of the the jewel thieves are that are the pile of jewels. Except that not. Who is in custody?

Okay. I'm gonna look at the big pile of treasure. Be like, so do we clean this up or just what was the point of this looks like a magic thing. Yeah, that seems very ritualistic.

Those magic dudes love it when people kill themselves. It's like it's the coolest thing in the world of them. That's terrible. It is.

It sucks. Magic is stupid. I hate it. That's why I'm going to discover it and then defeat it.

But like this, I don't know what to do about this. Is there like a jewelry, a gallop starting to form or anything or is it just like a dead guys? Just a stack of dead guys. Okay.

I guess we can let the caps in. Let's go with the cops know what happened first. Okay. They're talking about someone rising again.

They knew they knew who I was. Yeah, that's not good. Who was rising to the same name? They didn't say name to me.

No, no name. Can I pick through the corpses and try to find who the leader was? Roll me and investigate. Can you flip over me a do?

That's a do. No three. Three. You can't tell who the leader is because they were all had a medical stuff.

Okay. But you do find some things on their bodies. Okay. They have unique curved blades with kind of an insignia burnt into the blades.

Okay. And they all have cards on them that say Cult of Drake. And the blades all have like a little dragon design on them. Now y'all, I'm not a detective.

But this might have something to do with a Drake guy. Oh, I have read the files on this guy. He's a dragon, right? Yeah, he put me into a fucking tube.

What a dick. Yeah, it sucked. We should probably let the cops in if we know what's going on. I mean, okay.

Before they figure it out, I've moved a bunch of corpses. All right. You let the cops in, they start doing their cop thing. Okay.

I'm gonna look around and just be like, so we're gonna go to the straight guy. I have scared him. I mean, it seems like y'all have history. Is it important?

Should we take care of this guy? Is this ASAP stuff? And he's big. He's a big dragon.
