Samantha Curley - Samantha is an art expert and artist herself who founded and organization called "The Level Ground" which helps underrepresented artists in the Los Angeles area get the exposure and guidance needed to succeed. Today we talk to her about this non profit organization as well as her new program "The Level Ground Residency Program"John Susman - John is the director of the movie "Game Day". John Susman’s script of Game Day received an Illinois Arts Council Award, was selected into the IFP Film Market in New York and was a finalist in the Illinois/Chicago Screenwriting Competition. He wrote and directed the award-winning film Making the Man, screened in over a dozen international film festivals. He wrote the plays Nelson & Simone (Midwest New Plays Festival, Live Bait Theater), Tiger Treadwell Takes Tinseltown (Uprising Playwright’s Award, Los Angeles Theatre Unit), and Café Society (Heideman Award Finalist Actors Theatre of Louisville, Circle Theatre New Plays Festival). He was Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s first literary manager, where he also served as dramaturg and assistant director on many Steppenwolf productions. A graduate of the University of Chicago, he is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Directors Guild of America. Game Day is his first feature.
