Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
from Prophecy on SermonAudio Hosted by Dan Sardinas
This sermon concludes a series on the book of Revelation by examining the final instructions and promises found in chapter 22. The central message emphasizes that the proper response to Scripture is worship directed solely to God, illustrated by the angel's rejection of John's misplaced reverence and contrasted with Jesus' acceptance of worship as the divine Son. The preacher urges believers to live with readiness, recognizing that the time is near and that salvation is found only through faith in the finished work of Christ, which washes the believer's robes in the blood of the Lamb. Additionally, the text highlights the dual invitation for the church to pray for Christ's return and to extend the gospel to the thirsty, while warning against altering the prophetic word. The sermon closes with an exhortation to wait with longing for the soon return of Jesus, finding ultimate comfort and hope in His grace.
