Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer this week joined American Farmland Trust president and CEO Andrew McElwaine, former Kentucky Gov. and First Lady Brereton and Libby Jones and Lexington Mayor Jim Gray to announce the first nationwide conference focused on farming, land use, and food policy to be held in Lexington in October. The American Farmland Trust is bringing a national conference called "Farmland, Food and Livable Communities" to Lexington, KY October 20-22 this year.
