American Heart Association Go Red For Women

Aired February 1, 2026: Guest: Betsy Hart is the President and Chief Executive, Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, which is celebrating its 100-year anniversary. She is the 2026 Chair of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement and a Board Member of the American Heart Association. Betsy was a former cardiac nurse and understands the burden of cardiovascular disease in women. Friday, February 6, is National Wear Red Day, and February is Heart Month — a time when the American Heart Association reminds us that even though heart disease remains our leading health threat, there’s still so much we can do to protect our hearts. It’s also an important reminder that heart disease is not just an older person’s issue.
