Mark interviews Travis and Erin, unhoused Missoula neighbors who have just been evicted out of their outdoor houses, with a written response by Ginny Merriam, the City of Missoula’s communication director. And we hear from Missoula City Councillor Kristen Jordan on these cruel sweeps and her proposal to stabilize the situation. We also continue to look at the current United Auto Workers strike and the Kaiser Permanente strike. We bring back, sadly, the COVID pandemic report. We report and comment on the presentation given by former US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch when she recently visited Missoula. And Mark reads an analysis by Rob Urie on why only 4% of citizens believe the American political system is working.
