American Splendor with Peter Bay and Sam Lipman

Inside Austin's Brian Fitzgerald had an expansive conversation with Maestro Peter Bay from the Austin Symphony Orchestra and with composer and musician Sam Lipman from the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas. They covered subjects like a their love for music and how the Symphony is an important but often overlooked part of the "Live Music Capital of the World". The trio also discussed the upcoming American Splendor performances that has the Symphony performing music from some jazz composers like Duke Ellington and George Gershwin but also features the debut of one of Sam's competitions.
