Americans plan to spend more on holiday shopping this year

When it comes to setting a budget for the upcoming holiday season, a large number of Americans say they will be spending more this year than they did last. Today is National Thrift Shop Day! Thrifting has become a massive industry here in the US, generating more than 60 million dollars annually. It can be a tough environment for some Bay Area museums in battling for donations and visitors, but one Redwood City museum is in the midst of a major expansion.
