AMERICA'S NORMALIZATION OF CRUELTY

From deporting innocent citizens to criminalizing homelessness, America's government today is breaking laws and normalizing cruelty. Tens of thousands of America's unhoused population work part or even full time. Many have children. When homeless encampments are removed and people's belongings trashed, how are those people to keep their jobs? How are the children to go to school? The level of trauma being inflicted on people is something beyond what any person of conscience should be willing to tolerate. I asked Jesse Rabinowitz, Campaign and Communications Director at National Homelessness Law Center, to help explain what's happening and what we can do about it.
