Although the final score of 62-46. does not reflect it, Thursday Guilford got all it could handle with visiting Amistad. Both teams exhausted themselves on defense, with Amistad dominating the first half and into the 3rd quarter. At one point Amistad was leading by a slim margin! That's when Guilford's Colin Kellaher hit 2 three pointers almost in succession in the middle of the 3rd to put Guilford up by 6 and give them a lead that they would not relinquish.
