Ammirati Heads to Auburn | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Georgia baseball’s hitting coach Nick Ammirati is leaving for Auburn, joining forces with former Kentucky colleague Will Coggin to lead Auburn’s offense. Ammirati, who helped turn Georgia’s offense into one of the nation’s best — including two straight SEC home run titles and a program-record 179 homers last year — also played a key role in landing Georgia’s top-ranked transfer class. His departure marks another coaching shuffle in the SEC, as he replaces Josh Simpson, whom Johnson brought in just last year. With Ammirati now at Auburn, fans will be watching closely to see how the Tigers’ offense evolves and how Georgia adapts without him.
