Amor Fati and JJ McCarthy (#239, 16 Aug. 2024)

Rookie NFL Quarterback JJ McCarthy recently suffered a season ending injury, tearing his meniscus in a preseason game. He responded with two words, "Amor Fati." This comes straight out of the ancient philosophy of Stoicism.
