Nach einem lang anhaltenden Streit über die Wirtschafts- und Haushaltspolitik ist die Ampelkoalition am Mittwoch zerbrochen. Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz (SPD) gab bekannt, seinen Finanzminister Christian Lindner (FDP) zu entlassen. Daraufhin kündigten auch die anderen Minister der FDP ihren Rücktritt an. Im kommenden Jahr soll es vorgezogene Neuwahlen geben. Ein fataler Abgang, findet Mark Schieritz aus dem Politikressort der ZEIT. Er blickt im Podcast zurück auf die Konflikte der vergangenen drei Jahre und erklärt, wie es nun weitergehen könnte. Am Ende war Kamala Harris chancenlos.
