Amplifying Black Voices: Matt Moorefield

Matt Moorefield is an ice technician for the Carolina Hurricanes. Moorefield recounts working at an ice rink as a teenager before diving into the intricacies of making and maintaining an NHL-caliber ice sheet. (It sometimes involves eliminating stains, like red wine spilled from concerts staged above.)
