He's taught at several universities, including his alma mater, Princeton, and he served as an advisor for the film The Millionaires Unit, U.S. Naval Aviators in the First World War. He's the author of several terrific books, including 1941 Fighting the Shadow War A Divided America in a World at War, The Millionaires Unit, The Aristocratic Flyboys Who Fought the Great War, and American Airpower.
