Claude Schmid, founded Veteran Last Patrol to bring friendship to veterans in hospice care. Claude knows the importance of having a chance to tell your story—he saw it during his mother's visits to a dying friend, as well while leading the Army's Wounded Warrior Flight program, which welcomed thousands of injured and ill soldiers back from Iraq and Afghanistan for medical treatment.
