As far back as she can remember, Amy has always had a strong interest in politics and government.  She has a background in campaign work from the local to the federal level and previously worked for the Indiana State Democratic Party and Congressman Pete Visclosky.  She is dedicated to serving the community through her volunteer work with the Munster Junior Woman's Clubs, Vice President of the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of NWI, as well as serving on other various boards.
