In 2016, Madison Reed released visualization tools such as a chatbot that analyzes primary and secondary tones to customize a customer's dye, and an augmented reality tool that uses a customer's smart phone or laptop camera to simulate a new hair color. We talked about Amy's choice to use raw, untouched photos in her promotions. At the forefront of beauty innovation, Madison Reed created the first ever Smart 8-Free permanent hair color free of harsh ingredients: ammonia, parabens, resorcinol, PPD, phthalates, gluten, SLS, and titanium dioxide and it's leaping bunny certified meaning it is cruelty-free.
