Amy Singer is the editor of the online knitting magazine Knitty.com which launched in 2002 and wrote a book (No Sheep for You; Interweave Press, 2007), and three more on other knitting topics.  Knitty was the first knitting magazine to utilize the crowdfunding platform. As a result, Knitty is now fully funded. Amy lives in Toronto with her rabbit, Squeeze, and is frequently seen walking about shamelessly in public with her ukulele.
