An 8 year old who knew she wanted to see the world better.

I was 8 years old when I realised that something wasn’t quite right with my eyes and vision. My parents were immigrants to this country and had perfect vision. Which meant their education in health played a huge factor in me not having an eye exam. My passion for paediatric eyecare stemmed from here. My quote in my testing room is ‘ You don’t know what you can’t see, until you see it’.
