An Alternative Perspective on Autism

In this interview Dr. J shifts focus from youthful aging to tackle the important topic of Autism. Dr. Anju Usman is director of True Health Medical Center in Naperville, Illinois. She specializes in biomedical interventions for children with ADD, Autism and related disorders. She has been involved in research involving copper/zinc imbalances, metallothionein dysfunction, biofilm related infections and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Usman is also co-founder of ACE (Autism Center for Enlightenment) a non-profit organization which supports research, education and biomedical therapies for families in need. Dr. Usman received her medical degree from Indiana University. She completed a residency in Family Practice at Cook County Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois and is board certified in Family Practice.
