An Elderly Man

Guys, let’s be real — the freelancer life is FULLLLLLL of stories. Like, all the time. And then some. And, while some of those stories can make us want to ram our heads into the wall (just being honest), they are pretty dang fun to tell… and we’re excited to be back for another STORIES episode! Today we’re pouring a delicious mocktail that we’ve named “Put in the Work” with alllll the De Soi… so pour yours, and settle on in! On this episode, we’ve got lots of stories — and then some. We’ll dive into a good ole’ freelancer scam via an old man who “needed a family reunion photographed” (those are air quotes), a pickle one of our community freelancers has recently found herself in, a very… CRINGEY DM/client inquiry all rolled into one, and every freelancer’s worst fear — AKA, lost files. Plus, Arabela shares a story about the time she had completely forgotten 2 v important props on set. As we say, we’re all in this together… for better *and* for worse. LOL.
