An Epic Tale of Indigenous Resilience: Bones of Crows (2022)

On this week's show we are talking multi-disciplinary artist (playwright/screenwriter,  performer, producer, director) Marie Clements Canadian Screen Award nominated film Bones of Crows. The story of a Cree woman torn from her family as a child and sent to residential school, who would serve as a code talker during the second world war and finally one day speak truth to power at the vatican.  A TV series of the film premieres Sept 20 2023 on CBC and APTN, with a  Cree language version dropping the 25th on APTN.
