An eraser

Today I saw an image of an eraser, bringing to mind God's assurance that He erases our sins (transgressions, iniquities, wrongdoings) through His son Jesus Christ, if we so choose. Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake and remembers your sins no more". 'Even' is meaning 'All the more, I, to the point of exclusivity/only I'. It is wonderful that God's motivation to forgive us is because He wants us to be united to Him; however He wants us to choose that out of our own free will. Once we have received God's forgiveness and erasing of our sins, do we still have the eraser bits impacting us? We are now in the Book of Life, which means we have eternal life, so why do we need to hold on to the rubbery bits? Flick them off the page forever!
