An erosion of Patriotism

Twenty-five years following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, patriotism across the United States is in decline. In the immediate aftermath on September 12th, Americans stood united against a common adversary, grieving the devastating loss of life while searching for answers together. Today, however, that national unity has fractured: society has turned its back on God, allowed Islam to gain influence within government, and transformed political division into a competitive sport.
