What’s new with 4-H? What excites the state? Those are the questions we asked the Idaho State 4-H Director.Nancy Shelstad, a full professor based out of the Caldwell Research and Extension Center, Idaho AgriculturalExperiment Station under the University of Idaho has worked in numerous roles for 4-H in Idaho. She has servedas the Area Extension Educator — 4-H Youth Development in the Caldwell Research and Extension Center; and nowis the acting Interim State 4-H Director.Her experience with youth development is far-reaching, and she’s brought a wealth of experience. Today……Ok, maybe it was last fall, sometime……at some point, Joe sat down with Nancy to talk about her vision for Idaho 4-H. Where the program is headed,what she’s excited about, and what’s shaking across the state.
