An Evening with the Doctor

I got a chance to chat with Dr. Sharon Buchbinder! Our paths crossed when I enrolled at a four university to pursue my bachelors degree in healthcare management many years ago. Although undergrad is somewhat of a blur, I remember the day she called me into her office to encourage me to be a creative writer! In this podcast episode we discuss Dr. Buchbinder's journey juggling a full-time job and being a successful writer, the development of her career, writing tips, workforce stories, and so much more. I also got a chance to tell her a little bit about my toxic internship. Sharon Buchbinder has been writing fiction since middle school and has the rejection slips to prove it. An RN, she provided health care delivery, became a researcher, association executive, obtained a PhD in Public Health, and is an administrator in higher education. She is the author of the Hotel LaBelle Series, the Jinni Hunter Series, and the Obsession Series.
