An Extraneous Story of an Extravagant Savior

When we read this passage, we get the caveat in our Bibles that the earliest manuscripts do not contain it, so instead of just ignoring the note and preaching through it or skipping it all together, we discuss what to do with a passage like this. Despite the uncertainty about this passage's authenticity, it is amazing how reliable and trustworthy the text of our Bibles really is.
