The two teams have met once this season when the Kings came away with a 3-1 win in Edmonton. Also that night, Alexander Edler hit Connor McDavid with a knee-on-knee hit which led to no supplementary discipline from the NHL. The Kings currently sit in second in the Pacific Division and are seven points ahead of the Oilers with two more games played. Since today is an Edmonton Oilers gameday, Jay Downton will join the show for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show.
