An Insignificant Crime

Ernst Heissman was a soldier during the Great War. Upon returning home to Germany, he finds a world he recognizes but certainly doesn't understand. Broken and humiliated, Heissman attends a radical conservative meeting at a beer hall. The speaker and the subsequent events changes his life forever. This work of short fiction was written by Dr. Richard J. Raskin in 2005. In celebration of Dr. Raskin's life, his story is brought to life with a reading by his son, Ben Raskin.
