An Inspired Life: Erotic Awakening for Life Empowerment

from An Inspired Life · host An Inspired Life

As youngsters we go to school to apparently set us up for life. Where we learn not to ask too many questions. Not to ask for what we want. That the only correct answer is the one the teacher says it is… This all sets us up for a life of being told who we are and having to stay ‘inside the lines’. One of the subjects we’re definitely NOT meant to talk about or maybe even enjoy is SEX. As Vanessa Florence discovered, when you delve deeply into the very things that are considered taboo and liberate yourself in those areas, well – you create more freedom and empowerment in all areas of your life. Vanessa went to a 4 hour spiritual strip tease class in Thailand once that set her life on a new path. Reinvigorated, she came home and got a group of girl friends together to explore their sensuality and erotic nature and be witnessed in their raw expression. Little did Vanessa know, her creation Dancing Eros has now created a profound movement in dancing and sexual/life empowerment for women and men that is highly recommended, often as “life-changing” by all who experience it. I chatted to Vanessa to explore her tips on sexual, erotic and life empowerment. Inspired takeaways include: • How your willingness to ask for what you want, your ability to receive pleasure, and your ability to express yourself without limitations in the bedroom is a direct reflection of these aspects in your whole life (and how opening up in the bedroom can create more than just sexual pleasure). • Practical tips for getting in touch with your own sensuality and opening up to your erotic self (including how important sound is to your pleasure). • Perfection is a massive dampener on sensuality. If you allow yourself to be who you really are or express all of how you really feel, your authenticity will find its way to the surface and that’s when you’ll feel the sexiest and have the sexiest of experiences. • Being present in your own body is the key to living a sexual AND spiritual life (and tips on how to actually do this ‘presence in the body’ everyone is talking about). • How so many people focus on the light, but embracing your darkness also leads to more wisdom in life and more wholeness and pleasure in the bedroom. • • WANT MORE? The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
