An Inspired Life: Grounding your Spiritual Journey

from An Inspired Life · host An Inspired Life

Chakras, shamans, and secret plant medicine journeys… Spirituality can sometimes be perceived as this far-out, mystical destination most won’t ever ‘reach’ in real life. But it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, your spiritual journey is going to progress faster if you can ground it in your everyday life, rather than sitting in the lotus position away from all of life’s challenges for 18 hours a day. I chatted with Adam Roa, a teacher and supporter of Spiritual Ninjas, about his journey from a total cynic to a man who lives a grounded, rooted, practical spiritual life. Adam’s mentoring is highly sought after because he doesn’t share etherical concepts that are hard to follow in daily life. He gives practical, grounded advice for how to take our spiritual learnings and lessons and live them as a perfectly imperfect human being. Inspired takeaways include: • How to learn profound spiritual lessons from the smallest experiences in our life – from the threads of a cushion to the patterns in flower petals • How to not get caught up in the ‘breakthrough’ addiction that the personal development and spiritual world can often trap us in (& how our real transformations can often happen on a daily basis while we’re too busy focusing on the ‘next big breakthrough’) • How to live from your heart and grow your connection with your heart in an ongoing, continuing way • The many spiritual benefits of plant medicine and how to ground and integrate the learnings from these experiences in daily life • Why all of our experiences are neutral, and how our intention actually determines what kind of experience we end up having (& the quality of the lives we end up living) WANT MORE?
