An Integrative Approach to Cancer with Dr. Shelena Lalji

Dr. Shelena C. Lalji, founder of Dr. Shel Wellness & Aesthetic Center, has served the medical and wellness needs of women and men in the greater Houston area for over 24 years. After practicing as an OB/GYN for 13 years, Dr. Shel took the giant step of pursuing an independent practice in a field she was passionate about, integrative medicine.   Dr. Shel believes in the strong connection between the art of beauty and the science of wellness and has authored: I Am Woman: Our Journeys to Health, Happiness, and Harmony. She is a sought after international speaker and trainer and focuses on educating practitioners about treating the entire patient, not just concentrating on their symptoms or test results. In October 2019, Dr. Shel herself was diagnosed with breast cancer. She addressed this head on as not only a patient, but a woman's and patient advocate. She researched and identified the best integrative modalities for cancer, all of which she used to treat not only herself but also hundreds of others.
