An Interview with Crop
from The Brutally Delicious Podcast Hosted by Bruce Moore
Braun Dabney of Crop opens up about the band's razor-sharp lyricism—where no feeling is off-limits and brutal honesty cuts through every track. In a conversation colored by grief and reverence, Dabney reflects on the recent passing of metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, a true influence whose shadow looms large over heavy music. But it’s not all about looking back: Crop’s eyes are firmly set on the future with the announcement of their hotly anticipated album, S.S.R.I., set to drop on August 22, 2025. Promising a thunderous wall of sound and deeply introspective lyrics, S.S.R.I. isn’t just an album—it’s a cathartic journey through pain, clarity, and survival, delivered with the band’s signature blend of unflinching truth and explosivee energy.
