SAN JUAN, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Partnership’s latest Investment & Commercialization Tour took in the City of San Juan.There, land developers and realtors learned of the commercial, retail, and residential opportunities available in the fast-growing city. San Juan City Manager Ben Arjona said: “In the last five years our ad valorem property went from $1 billion to $1.3 billion. So we had an increase of $329 million in ad valorem in the last five years. Also, on sales taxes, we had an increase of about $2.6 million in the last five years. That speaks very highly of San Juan. San Juan is growing, it is going in the right direction.”Lauren R. Ramirez is a realtor for Emerald Realty Group, which is powered by Fox Real Estate Pros.
