An Interview with Visionary Organizer Jane McAlevey

This week on the Heartland Labor Forum, it's our second show on alt labor. That's alternative approaches to organizing and running unions. We'll spend the hour with Jane McAlevey, whose book, Raising Expectations and Raising Hell, was controversial and a great memoir of her decade as an organizer and union leader for SEIU. We'll ask her what went wrong in Florida in 2000 where she worked for the AFL-CIO, how she helped keep Tenet Healthcare out of Kansas City, and how unions need to change.
