An Introduction to Using our Mind for Manifestation

from Unveiled · host Angela Marie Christian

In this episode, I talk about how our mind is what makes us human.  We cannot survive without it. It’s something we should never take for granted, yet so many of us are stuck in negative loops and unhelpful patterns.  Have you ever stopped and paid attention to the monkey maniac or douchebag roommate you have in your head? It talks nonstop (even when you wake up in the middle of the night to pee), always pointing out your faults, and it’ll do anything to keep you playing safe.  Including: preventing you from living out your dreams. In Jen Sincero's book: “You are a Badass at Making Money," she likens our subconscious mind to a little prince (or Princess) who has recently inherited the kingdom. They're trying to run the kingdom based on kid-level  interpretations of what mommy and daddy did and said.  Can you imagine? Well it’s in you, too, unless you’ve done the work. I’ve been working on it for 7 years and it still pops up.  If I asked you: Do you want to be rich? Your conscious self would probably say: Hell yes! But your subconscious might say something like: “Yeah, but I don’t deserve it. Or Yeah, but it’ll never happen for me. Or yeah, but rich people are the root of all evil.” While we do a lot of work at the conscious level, we often forget to dive deep into the subconscious level, which is what I cover in my course Manifestation Mastery as it’s ALL about getting into the deep, dark primal brain and shining a light to uncover what’s holding you back.  I also teach chakras 101 and how to control your energy.  Our primary brain is made to keep us safe and alive.  So, any time we do something that feels uncomfortable, it sends an alert out to our little Prince (or our little Princess) that says: “We need to stop this immediately!” Which is when procrastination will kick in or you’ll suddenly get sick or you’ll let self-doubt consume you and go running back to your 9 to 5 job.  The only way for you to live the life of your dreams is to make friends with your little princess or princess, tell him / her it’s all going to be alright, and then keep going.  To do this, I have a specific journaling exercise I follow: here. We cannot manifest a dream life with these negative subconscious thoughts and beliefs.  As a coach, I always have my clients take an assessment that tells me what their top 3 saboteurs are. WE all have a master saboteur and along with that, we have accomplice saboteurs. We developed these as a child to feel safe.  While they protected us as children, they no longer serve us as adults.  In fact, they cause issues in our relationships, on the job, and even with our health.  I also run their birth chart, which might sound odd, but it truly helps me zero in on their gifts, challenges, and more.  With that, I develop a unique plan to reprogram their brain toward success. I’m currently accepting a small number of coaching clients.  Fill out the intake form here. Stay tuned for future workshops and podcasts where I'll dive into how our RAS (reticular activating system) is our superpower when it comes to manifestation! If you enjoyed this interview, please Subscribe and leave a review!
