An Invaluable Opportunity Count it ALL Joy … Really? Count … The cheating spouse The unfaithful friend The wayward child The disrespectful teenager The cancer diagnosis The overflowing toilet The flooded house The burned down dreams The cranky kiddos The crying baby The brutal summer heat The long frigid winter cold The crappy service The dishonest people The crashing stock market The loss of a relationship The failing health The impending death The angry accusers The lies The corruption The rising gas prices The eviction notice The hot pavement to sleep The busted washing machine The stalled car The flat tire The loss of a job What??? Seriously? Yes, Michelle, count even ALL those — and so much more as Joy. 😳🤯 I am not sure what is on your list … I am not trying to marginalize your pain with the extremes but simply showing that we all have our own levels or “degrees of 💩” that can toss us about. Thankfully many of these above are not on my list right now, but some pretty big ones are. It’s a reminder for me and for you to not let any junk or 💩steal your peace or your joy. And I can’t think of a better way to tick the devil off and not let him tempt you to lose your biscuits or cool or footing or peace or joy or whatever you may freak out on today or any day, is to simply laugh in his ugly face as you Count it ALL Joy! “Difficulties are an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest JOY that you can.” So, Count it ALL Joy… —XXOO 😘 Michelle Check out the Word 👇🏻 My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace. Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition? — James 1:2-8 TPT If your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life’s difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God! True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God! When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation. Instead it is each person’s own desires and thoughts that drag them into evil and lure them away into darkness. Evil desires give birth to evil actions. And when sin is fully mature it can murder you! So my friends, don’t be fooled by your own desires! Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change. God was delighted to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation! — James 1:12-18 TPT
