And if we’re not careful, the headlines can fill us with anxiety, anger…even despair.But we weren’t made to carry this on our own. Welcome to the very first episode of News on Knees — a public prayer podcast by Story King Media, where we choose prayer over panic and take those stressful headlines out of our worried hearts… and then bring them to the only One who can truly handle them.I’m your host, Giancarlo, and this show has one simple mission:To take what’s happening in the world… and bring it to God in prayer.That’s it! That’s why News on Knees exists.I might be over-ambitious here, we’ll see, but I’d really like to post 3-5 times a week. Each episode will be only a few minutes long. We’ll respond to headlines with prayer. At times, we’ll feature prayers from Scripture, prayers from the saints throughout history, and special guest prayers from fellow believers.This is a podcast rooted in the Christian faith, in all its variations — believing that Jesus is Lord, and that prayer isn't just something we do… It's our lifeline.The goal is simple: to flood the world with prayer, both online and off. To replace panic with peace. Outrage with intercession. I want this to be a community movement. I leave you with: Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
