"An Old-time Christmas" captures 'Liza Ann Lewis, a Black mother in New York who has spent ten years longing for the warm, abundant Christmas celebrations of her Southern childhood. Scraping together savings, she finally plans to give her thirteen-year-old son Jimmy a taste of the old ways.
