There is much optimism, however, in holiday revenue as compared to last season but the performances across segments will vary greatly. Some retailers are in-stock and ready to roll while others are struggling to keep up with demand.  Consumers surveyed indicated that holiday gifts this year will be ethically sourced, sustainable and a nod to small businesses but will their shopping behavior be reflective of what they say? One thing for sure is the holiday shopping season is as unpredictable as consumer demand.
