An unclear picture through vertical blinds

Today, as I was looking out at the new day through some vertical blinds, I reflected on the unclear picture we have of God whilst He, meanwhile, knows us intimately and loves us deeply. In 1 Corinthians 13:12 Apostle Paul declares, "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known". We are fully known by God. 1Corinthians 13 , often quoted at weddings, is sometimes described as the love chapter as it emphasises wonderful characteristics of love. Instead of looking at them as impossible for us to attain and certainly not on a constant basis, let us remember that those love characteristics describe God's abiding love towards us. This is despite Him knowing all our frailties; He hopes and trusts in the end result as we increasingly spend time with Him.
